This was really simple, fast and great! I know it's not as healthy, but I love fried chicken strips more than baked ones.
What you need:
- 1 pkg. chicken breasts or tenderloins (cut breasts into strips)
- 1 1/2 cup flour
- 2 tsp. Lawry's seasoning salt
- Vegetable oil
Submerge chicken strips in buttermilk for 15 to 20 minutes.
Add flour and seasoning salt into a shallow bowl.
Heat vegetable oil over medium heat.
Dip buttermilk-soaked strips into flour to coat and fry for 1 to 2 minutes on each side.
Once golden brown, remove to a paper towel-lined plate.
