Like I said previously, I wanted to feature recipes out of my Food Network Magazine issues every once in a while.
From the Oct 2011 issue, I made Kale Chips from pg. 129. I was incredibly pleased with how these turned out, even though I almost burned them! It's the strangest thing - they taste like actual chips, but they are healthy! :)
I made the Fresh Whiskey Sours on p. 147 of the Dec. 2011 issue. My sister-in-law bartends and for Christmas, she gave me a folder of recipes for alcoholic drinks. I wanted to test out a drink that wasn't hers, just in case I screwed it up. Thankfully, the alcohol gods were with me and I pulled off this little drink. I can't wait to try out her drink recipes!
